Superintendent

The Superintendent oversees offshore construction work and liaises effectively with the Project Manager, Client representatives and other stakeholders. A good communicator yet firm manager able to lead and work in multi disciplinary, multi-ethnic and multi-lingual team.

His responsibilities include:
Ensure the offshore construction work is performed correct, timely, safe and within budget;
Managing the offshore construction team, promoting professional performance and team spirit;
Instruct employees and subcontractors in the contents of crane set-up, lifting plans, load charts, SWL, capacity charts, lifting and rigging equipment;
Coordinates safety and work instructions, leads toolbox meetings, issues safety permits;
Maintain HSE standards and QA/QC standards.

Our ideal candidate is well experienced in offshore heavy lifting/rigging/erection of steel structure and jacking/skidding operations, considered the expert in our field by colleagues. Al least you have worked 5 years as Superintendent in heavy lift projects and are known with a DP operated environment. You hold a college degree in mechanical or civil engineering and level 1 rigging certificate or equivalent ECITB/LOLER. The Superintendent must have the ability to transfer ideas, technical information and experience into operational working instructions.
